Description
In Moon Rippling, the artist moves away from the figurative “creature” to explore pure, radiating energy. The composition is a masterful study of concentric motion, centered around a luminous, pale-blue core that feels like the heart of a cold star or a moon reflected in dark water. The light spirals outward in thick, sculpted ridges of impasto, transitioning from soft whites into electric cerulean and finally into the deep, midnight indigos of the canvas’s edge. The heavy texture gives the painting a physical “pulse.” Each stroke of the palette knife creates a ripple that catches the light, making the entire surface feel as though it is vibrating or slowly rotating. It is a meditation on the far-reaching impact of a single point of light—a visual representation of how a moment of clarity or a single soul can “ripple” out and illuminate the vast, surrounding darkness. “Even the smallest light creates a wave that never truly ends.”
